APDT Professional Membership Grace Period

APDT Professional members in good standing who have attained Professional level status for a period of at least one full calendar year and whose applicable certification has expired may retain Professional level status under the following conditions:

1. The member intends to renew their applicable certification within one (1) calendar years’ time.
2. The member will provide proof of renewed applicable certification to the APDT office prior to renewing Professional Level status after the one (1) year calendar period is up.
3. The member will continue to renew at the Professional Level rate, and refunds will not be given if the member fails to renew their applicable certification after one (1) calendar years’ time.
4. The member submits proof of at least 12 continuing education units during the one (1) calendar year period to the APDT office.
