About the Award
The Central Life Sciences - Comfort Zone 2007 Veterinary Technician of the Year Award requires the submittal of a 500 word essay from a working Veterinary Technician. The essay should highlight the following qualities in the recipient:
- Technical skill
- Empathy for animals and humans
- Business skill
Essay Requirements
- 500 words (approximately 2 pages)
- Each page headed with Essay title
- One essay entry allowed
- Double spaced
- Title page-On a separate page exclusive of the essay pages
- Essay Title, Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address

Award
The winner will receive up to $1,500 to go toward travel, meals and hotel and free admission to the APDT Educational Conference. The winner will receive recognition and a certificate. The deadline for entry is June 9, 2008
