About the Award

This award will showcase innovative ideas for pet dog trainers. The theme for 2011 is Coming When Called. The goal is to create a video that shows a simple way to train the recall (come) behavior that would be easy for the general public to do and useful for any trainer to implement.

The target audience is pet dog trainers and the ideas should be transferrable to the pet owner. The winning video will be shown at the 2011 Annual APDT Educational Conference and Trade Show, and on the APDT Web site and YouTube.

Note: Contestants must be members of the APDT.
