This hands on workshop presented by Allen Bauman, APDT Charter Member, CPDT, teaches that in order for a reward to be effective, the dog must have some motivational drive towards it. What behavior is your dog offering during the presentation and receipt of these rewards (drives)? Inappropriate rewarding can result in poor control of your dog's drives.
