A natural teacher and an entertaining speaker, Susan Garrett is recognized as a leading educator of dog trainers. Her understanding of how to apply learning principles to dog training has made her a much sought after speaker throughout North America and as far away as Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Bermuda and Europe.
Susan's interest in animal behavior began at the University of Guelph where she earned a BS in Animal Science. Since then she has developed into a pre-eminent canine sports instructor and competitor, recognized world wide for her many accolades in competitive Agility, Fly ball, and Obedience. Her dogs perform with a happy attitude and great precision, enjoying their work as much as Susan enjoys working with them.
Susan has a unique ability to motivate people to want to learn from their dogs while they train. From pet dog classes to teaching world class performance competitors, anyone can benefit from the insightful program Susan has developed to help reach all of your dog training goals.
Susan's first book Ruff Love: A Relationship Building Program has become a favorite resource for dog trainers world wide.
