Want a Conference Roomie to Share Expenses?

We are all trying to save money this year and we want to help so you can come to the annual conference and enjoy the experience. This way you have some extra bucks to spend at the trade show. A room share and ride share list is available to APDT members at www.apdt.com/m/benefits/conf

The 2009 Conference Workbook

A conference workbook will be distributed to all attendees. It contains: the conference agenda, abstracts, outlines of the sessions, biographies of each speaker, plus the Exhibitor Directory.

Conference CD-Roms

Digitell, Inc. sells audio recordings of all conference sessions. The CD-ROMs take between 8-10 weeks to complete production and will be shipped to you directly from Digtell, Inc. The CDs include complete audio recordings of all conference sessions, a copy of the workbook and speakers audio-visual materials. The CD-ROM is not accessible for the deaf/hard of hearing. CD-ROMs can be pre-ordered with your conference registration for a special pre-conference price of $149.00

Official Conference T-Shirts & Sweatshirts

Official Conference T-Shirts & Sweatshirts must be pre-ordered with registration and picked up at the conference. No shipping is available. Shirts are available for pre-sale only. They will not be available for sale on-site.

Business Card and Business Brochure Contests

Bring a business card and one of your brochures to enter each of the contests for best of 2009. In the exhibit hall post your materials on the two boards. On Saturday afternoon the Conference Staff will choose the best card and brochure. The lucky winner will receive a 2009 APDT Conference CD-ROM set.

Dog Tattoos?

Ok, we just learned that a lot of you have tattoos of your dogs--on your body? So bring a picture of your dog tattoo and post it on the tattoo board. The owner of the best dog tattoo will receive a 2009 Conference CD-Rom too!

Earlier Bird Reception
Here’s a chance to meet other conference attendees and share some great dog training moments. Bring a DVD of your dog performing or just doing something silly. Share a video of a training game or puppies playing together. Join us for the Early Bird Reception after you have picked up your conference packet. We’ll provide the DVD player, screen and a No Host (cash) Bar. It's a great opportunity to network with your fellow professionals while sharing a few good laughs. You never can tell who you may meet, Ian Dunbar and Turid Rugaas both have plans to attend!

Wednesday

Welcome Reception
Hors d'oeuvres, No Host (cash) Bar, and book signing with authors Jean Donaldson and Bob Bailey. Join friends and colleagues, share tales, meet a few of your favorite authors, and enjoy meeting up with old friends and making some new ones. Fun for everyone!.

“Friday Mic Live!”
The APDT Players are at ig again! They are writing their script, practicing every night, and preparing for their annual night of stardom. But this year there is a door charge for entrance--you have to wear a hat! Any hat, old, new, beautiful, ugly, expensive, cheap, or one you found. Listen up conference puppies! The conference old timers always make time for this night; you will not want to miss it. And be sure to gather up a group--new friends, old friends, regional groups, breed clubs, work friends, etc. and have your photo taken in the photo corner..

Saturday

Author Book Signing
This Conference tradition gives you a chance to meet your favorite dog book (and DVD) authors face to face and get autographs. Dogwise will be there selling authors’ books and DVDs or just bring your personal copy from home.
