Sarah Whitehead is an international lecturer and pet behavior counselor seeing dogs and cats with behavioral problems on referral from veterinary surgeons across the south of England, under her company name of the Alpha Pet Behavior Practice. She runs the “Alpha, Think Dog!” eighteen branch, UK-based chain of puppy and dog training classes. Whitehead has an MSc in Animal Behavior and is a member of the Association of Pet Behavior Counselors (APBC), member and past public relations executive for the APDT UK.

Sarah is the author of twenty behavioral and training books, booklets and videos including the Complete Guide to the Puppy and The Dog Training Pack. She is currently working on a DVD and book titled Talk Dog – a guide to canine body language and facial expression. Whitehead is a regular contributor to the specialist press, is a feature writer for Dogs Today magazine, and frequently appears on television and radio.

Sarah lives in Berkshire, UK, with Windsor, the Golden Retriever, Tao the crossbreed from Battersea Dogs’ Home and Alex the cat.
