KYRA SUNDANCE is a world-acclaimed professional stunt dog show performer, executing synchronized tumbling stunts and choreographed trick dog routines in live shows. Her Sundance Dog Team starred in thousands of shows including: 200 performances of Disney’s Underdog stage show in Hollywood;  a command performance for the King of Morocco at his palace in Marrakech; and numerous halftime shows for the NBA, MLB, and AFL. They've performed on The Tonight Show (twice), Ellen, ET, Worldwide Fido Awards, Animal Planet's Pet Star, and co-starred in Showdog Moms & Dads
Kyra is nationally ranked in competitive dog sports, training, competing, and titling in such sports as Obedience, Agility, Hunting, Disc, Mushing, Retrieving, and Versatility. Kyra also works as an animal trainer for dog actors on TV and movie sets including Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, and My Dog Ate What?
Kyra authored five popular books including the international besteller 101 Dog Tricks  (translated into 15 languages), which provides step-by-step photos and instruction on using positive techniques to teach behaviors. She also hosts a series of award-winning dog tricks DVDs. Her newest book, 101 Ways to Do More With Your Dog! releases Oct. '10. 
Kyra teaches training classes though her local non-profit obedience club, where her positive and force-free training methods foster confident, happy dogs who are motivated to do the right thing rather than fearful of making a mistake. These methods develop joyful relationships with dogs who balance enthusiasm and self-control. 
As an animal spokesperson, Kyra serves as a media pet expert, hosts animal events, and makes media and celebrity appearances. Kyra is a graduate of UCLA. An avid athlete, Kyra is a marathon runner and former gymnast and windsurfing instructor for Club Med.

Kyra and her Weimaraners Chalcy and Jadie live with Kyra’s husband on a ranch in California’s Mojave desert.
