Allan Bauman, CPDT

Allan Bauman has been actively training dogs for more than 28 years. Early in his career, Allan successfully competed in Obedience Trials. His success led to a career of pet care and dog training. For 18 years, he operated Goldenbrook Kennels, a facility which handled over 300 dogs per week. Through his pet care facility, Allan discovered the need for training the family pet.

Allan’s goal is to help family pet owners control their rambunctious puppy, using gentle, effective methods that even the youngest family member can apply. Bauman is a Charter Member and Past President of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and has lectured both nationally and internationally.  He is the author of Paw-sitive Dog Training, which is also available in video.
