All About Cats
With Katenna Jones
There are about one million more cats owned in the US than dogs, yet many people know so much more about dogs. Many people like cats, but just don't "get" them, while others fear cats altogether. In recognition of June's Adopt-A-Cat month, APDT is pleased to offer a FREE webinar that is all about cats. This webinar will cover multiple aspect of the cat and attendees will receive a broad overview of feline information. The goal of this webinar is to have attendees walk away with a better understand of and respect for the cat.
Katenna Jones is the Education Programs Coordinator for APDT. She provides cat and dog consultations for local animal shelters and rescues, state and national disaster response teams, and is RI's only certiifed cat behavior consultant. Katenna has work extensively in animal shelters, spent four years as a Behaviorist and Cruelty Investigator working on numerous cat hoarding cases, is the founder of Friends of Fido, and is the author of Katenna is the author of “Fetching the Perfect Dog Trainer: Getting the Best for You and Your Dog.” She is an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant, and a Certified Pet Dog Trainer. She earmed her Master’s Degree from Brown University, where she studied animal behavior, learning, and cognition. Katenna lives in Rhode Island, with her husband, two adopted cats and adopted dog.
