What is a Webinar?
A webinar is a 60- to 90-minute web-based session that integrates a combination of a PowerPoint™ slideshow, audience questions via online chat, and an audio presentation. To present a webinar session, you need a telephone (a land line, not a mobile line), Internet access, and PowerPoint™ slides. Each webinar includes a 10-minute introduction, 60 minute presentation, and 15 - 20 minutes for chat-based Q&A at the end of the presentation. Speakers can present the webinar from their office or home.
Sample of a Presentation
If you have not previously spoken at an APDT educational event, please provide a sample presentation to the APDT staff at webinars@apdt.com. A sample presentation can consist of a video or audio file of you speaking before an audience.
- For video files, please upload them to a private YouTube channel and forward us the link.
- For audio files under 60 MB, you may upload to www.apdt.com/uploads.
