	The APDT Chronicle of the Dog Further your knowledge of dog training and behavior through your subscription to The APDT Chronicle of the Dog, our award-winning quarterly full-color publication, now available in print and digital editions.
	Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.)® The APDT Canine Life and Social Skills program (C.L.A.S.S.)® is designed to promote positive training and building relationships with dogs to the average pet owner. We are very excited about the C.L.A.S.S. program which will only be available for APDT members.
	APDT Community Online Find members to network with and discuss training and business topics through your access to our members only private social network, our online membership directory and listings of regional trainer networking groups. Volunteer opportunities are also available through the network.
	Annual Educational Conference Members receive a discount on attendance at our renowned Annual Educational Conference and Trade Show – five days of training and behavior seminars and networking with trainers from all over the U.S. and the world. Levels of Membership

Professional Membership

This classification is limited to part- or full-time professional dog trainers, animal behaviorists, and dog training educational personnel who have attained certification from the APDT Board Approved List.

• Priority listing in the APDT Trainer Search. Please understand that searches on the Trainer Search are determined based on location, services offered, certification and level of membership - based on each individual dog owner's search criteria, your listing may or may not be selected. Professional memberships do get priority listing at the top of the page.
• Approval to use the ADPT Professional Member Logo
• Additional 10% Discount on all APDT Events

• Listing in the online APDT Member Directory

• Subscription to The APDT Chronicle of the Dog

• Professional members receive a discounted rate on APDT Webinars
• Professional members are eligible to be C.L.A.S.S. Evaluators

• Access to the members-only E-mail List and the APDT BarkBoard Discussion Forum
• Access to medical, dental, life, liability and other insurance.
• Access to the Members Only area of the APDT Web site, featuring association news, member news bulletins, online access to your personal profile and more.
• Right to vote in APDT elections and serve on the board of directors
• Can serve as committee/task force chair or member
• 10% Discount at Dogwise, as well as access to other member discounts to pet-related vendors.

Cost: $150 for a one-year membership.

Full Membership

This classification is open to part- or full-time dog trainers, animal behaviorists, and dog training educational personnel.

• Listing in the APDT Trainer Search Please understand that searches on the Trainer Search are determined based on location, services offered, certification and level of membership - based on each individual dog owner's search criteria, your listing may or may not be selected. Professional memberships do get priority listing at the top of the page.
• Approval to use the ADPT Full Member Logo
• Listing in the online APDT Member Directory
• Subscription to The APDT Chronicle of the Dog
• Full members receive a discounted rate on APDT Webinars
• Full members are eligible to be C.L.A.S.S. Evaluators

Associate Membership

Membership classification is open to individuals who are associated with or have an interest in the dog training profession, such as veterinarians, vet techs, shelter workers, volunteers and management, animal control officers, etc. Also included in this classification are dog owners and employees of companies who supply products and services to dog trainers.

• Approval to use the ADPT Associate Member Logo
• Listing in the online APDT Member Directory
• Subscription to The APDT Chronicle of the Dog
• Associate members receive a discounted rate on APDT Webinars

• Access to the members-only E-mail List
• Access to medical, dental, life, liability and other insurance.
• Access to the Members Only area of the APDT Web site, featuring association news, member news bulletins, online access to your personal profile and more.
• Can serve as committee/task force member
• Cost: $100 for a one-year membership.

The Subscription Membership category has been discontinued, and an actual subscription for purchasing 'The Chronicle of the Dog Magazine' has been established. Retaining a subscription to The Chronicle of the Dog will not provide access to the APDTList or the Members Only section of the APDT Web site. All current Subscription members are welcome to move to one of the other three classifications based on their needs at any time. A subscription to the APDT Chronicle of the Dog is $50 annually.
