About Certifications
The APDT Board of Trustees recognizes the list below that includes eight approved designations. An APDT dog trainer must possess at least one of the certifications below in order for him/her to be considered a certified pet dog trainer.
The APDT-approved certifications will be reviewed by the APDT Board at least once a year and designations will be added or deleted as appropriate
