Veterinary Student Membership Information

Are you a member of a Behavior Club or a Canine Club at an accredited college or university and enrolled in a degree program for a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine?

The APDT is now offering student memberships for club members!

As a Student Veterinary Club Member, you will be eligible for:

  • Access to our online discussion board, The APDT BarkBoard, where members can discuss a variety of training and behavior issues with other APDT members, as well as other dog-related topics.
  • Discounts to our Annual Educational Conference and Trade Show.
  • Discounts to a variety of pet-related vendors such as Dogwise Books, Tawzer Dog Videos, and more.
  • Assistance locating speakers in your area who could present to your club members on issues related to humane, science-based dog training.
  • A digital subscription to our award-winning journal, The APDT Chronicle of the Dog as well as three (3) hardcopies to be mailed to the club for group club use.

Current APDT Student Veterinary Clubs include students from the University of Pennsylvania, University of California-Davis, Colorado State University, North Carolina State University and Iowa State University.
